Griffins Hill Iyengar Yoga Retreat
Griffins Hill is a peaceful, contemporary, architect designed retreat set in a six acre garden, two kilometres from the township of Dunkeld in the southern Grampians Victoria Australia. The setting has spectacular panoramic views of Mount Sturgeon and Mount Abrupt, providing the perfect natural setting for an Iyengar Yoga Retreat.
The retreat is the inspiration of Frank Jesse, well known senior Iyengar yoga teacher . This is an initiative to bring yoga to a small rural village and provide a place to restore and rejuvenate the mind and body in a setting conducive to the quiet reflective yogic mind.
The practice of yoga is an ideal way to balance the stresses of modern day living, helping us to stay healthy and young in body, mind and spirit. Yoga nourishes the organic body through the practice of asanas (postures), brings clarity to the mind, and keeps the body strong, supple and heathy.
Griffins Hill is available for weekday or weekend accommodation. We cater for small groups in relaxed and comfortable surrounds.
Hosts: Jane Gibb and Frank Jesse
